The matte black body with gold jewellery work is the most iconic visual form of Tirupati Balaji. The actual Tirumala Venkateswara murti is naturally dark stone, and the deity is adorned with gold ornaments during puja. This idol captures that essential combination — dark body, gold crown, gold garland, gold ornamental detailing throughout. At 9 inches it has the presence of a proper home mandir piece, not a desk item.

The fully gold or silver plated idols have a uniform metallic finish across the entire body. This idol keeps the body in matte black terracotta — which is how the actual Tirumala murti looks — and applies gold only to the ornamental elements: crown, garland, jewellery. The result is a more devotionally accurate and visually striking contrast. This is the traditional aesthetic South Indian families associate with Balaji.
Yes. At 9 inches, this is a proper mandir centrepiece — the right scale for an altar or puja shelf where it will be the primary idol. If you need something for a desk or car dashboard, the 5.1 inch range at ₹1,099 is more appropriate. For a living room display, the 9 inch size works well positioned on a wooden chowki at chest level.
Yes. Ships in a protective gift box with a Vastu placement guide included.
