Lord Ganesha — Vighnaharta, remover of obstacles, lord of beginnings. This 3.5-inch idol features 999 silver plated white terracotta finish, weighs 140 grams, and ships in a gift box at ₹899. Compact enough for a car dashboard, detailed enough for a home mandir shelf.
Silver plating on the ornaments and body, white terracotta on the skin — this combination gives the idol a cool, lunar quality that is distinct from gold-plated variants. The 999 grade silver is the same purity used across Gold Art India's premium line.

Place the idol on the dashboard facing you (the driver) — ideally on the left or centre. The idol should face toward you, not away. Avoid placing it where it could slide during braking. A small piece of non-slip mat under the base keeps it stable. The 3.5 inch size is well suited for most dashboards without obstructing vision.
999 silver is 99.9% pure silver — the highest purity available. Standard silver plating on cheaper idols uses lower grades like 925 or even silver-coloured alloys. Gold Art India uses genuine 999 grade electroplating, which gives a brighter, more reflective finish and better tarnish resistance compared to lower purity platings.
Yes. Place the idol on a clean red or yellow cloth. Light a diya with ghee. Offer durva grass, modak, and red flowers — these are Ganesha's most auspicious offerings. Chant Om Gan Ganapataye Namah 108 times. For a permanent puja room placement, a brief Prana Pratishtha by a priest is recommended, though daily home consecration is widely practised and fully valid.
Wednesday (Budhwar) is the day most associated with Ganesha worship and considered ideal for bringing a new Ganesha idol home. Chaturthi (the 4th day of every lunar fortnight) is another auspicious time. Ganesh Chaturthi in August–September and Diwali are the two most significant occasions for installing a new Ganesha murti.
Yes. Ships in a protective gift box — presentable enough to gift directly without rewrapping. The packaging is designed to keep the idol safe in transit. If you are ordering as a gift, no additional wrapping is needed.
