Makhan Krishna Idol — Gold Plated Antique Matte Finish | 4 x 3 Inch | Gold Art India
Makhan Krishna in a warm gold plated antique matte finish — the child form of Lord Krishna seated with his hand in the butter pot. The antique matte treatment gives this idol an aged, temple-like quality that the glossy gold finish does not have. At 4 x 3 inches it is the right size for a home mandir shelf, office desk or as a meaningful gift. ₹1,499.

About the Antique Matte Finish
The antique matte finish is applied after gold electroplating. It dulls the surface intentionally to create an aged, heritage quality that is close to how old temple idols look. The gold is still present — 22kt electroplated — but the topcoat removes the shine and replaces it with depth. This finish is particularly suited to Makhan Krishna because the playful, timeless nature of the form is better expressed in an antique quality than in a bright shiny gold. The matte treatment also means the idol does not show fingerprints or reflections the way glossy pieces do.

What is the difference between antique matte and dual tone matte Krishna?
The antique matte version uses gold-only electroplating with an antique matte topcoat — one metal, warmer, more traditional. The dual tone matte version uses both gold and silver plating together with a matte topcoat, creating a two-metal layered effect. If you prefer a pure gold, heritage temple aesthetic, the antique matte is the right choice. If you prefer a modern two-tone look, the dual tone is better.
Does it come ready to gift?
Yes. Ships in a protective gift box suitable for direct gifting. A Vastu placement guide is included inside the box.
